Install the Prime Chat widget on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or Wix

Prime Chat installs with one script. The only question is where your platform lets you add it. Copy the script from your assistant’s install screen first.

    WordPress

    Use a header and footer code plugin, or your theme’s custom code setting, and paste the script into the footer area so it loads on every page.

    Shopify

    In Online Store, open Themes, choose Edit code, open theme.liquid and paste the script just before the closing body tag. Save.

    Webflow

    Open Site settings, go to Custom code and paste the script into the Footer code box. Publish the site.

    Wix and Squarespace

    Use the custom code or code injection setting, add the script to all pages, and place it in the body end or footer.

    Custom websites

    Add the script to your shared layout or template, just before the closing body tag.

    Check it works

    Open your site in a private browser window. The chat launcher should appear in the position you chose.

Tips

  • If the widget does not appear, clear any caching plugin or CDN cache.
  • Load the script on every page so visitors can ask from wherever they land.
